Emily’s yoga journey began in 2016 after attending a restorative class that offered something she hadn’t known she needed— stillness. From that first experience, she was drawn back, eventually discovering that yoga wasn’t just movement but a gateway to healing, self-awareness, and inner connection.
As Blue Ridge Yoga’s Studio and Community Coordinator, Emily is passionate about creating welcoming, meaningful spaces where every individual feels seen and valued. She believes every person carries a unique perspective and purpose, and that yoga offers a pathway to not only explore the body and breath, but to remember our shared humanity.
Before joining our team, Emily spent several years working on boats which allowed her to travel and work with folks from all over the world. Emily is honored to hold space for others on their paths and hopes to help each student tap into the strength and compassion that yoga has offered her.
