Lisa began her yoga practice in 2016 after coming to Blue Ridge to work as a receptionist. After a few months of practice, she saw a noticeable difference in her flexibility, strength, and peace of mind. Her yoga practice was solidified when she practiced yoga throughout her entire pregnancy with her third child and saw huge benefits to her pregnancy and postpartum recovery from her yoga practice.

After working 5 years behind the desk at Blue Ridge, Lisa enrolled in the 200 hour teacher training at Blue Ridge in order to deepen her practice and achieve her goal of bringing accessibility, strengthening, and joy to others through yoga. 

Lisa enjoys incorporating the concepts of control and engagement to challenge and strengthen the body while remaining accessible to all ages and body types. 

Lisa is a proud mom to 3 precious girls, and her hobbies include playing piano, guitar, and singing, home improvement and woodworking projects.
